Echo Update 2010
Saturday June 5, 2010 | Toronto Congress Centre
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The curriculum was designed to be of interest to cardiologists and internal medicine specialists and focused on interesting and challenging echocardiograms. Our panel of experts reviewed and discussed each case in the context of contemporary care with a spotlight on diagnosis, management and follow-up.
Staying true to our mission of delivering interactive educational events of the highest caliber, we were pleased to introduce the Canadian Echo Idol ® competition as part of the Echo Update curriculum. During the three "Diagnostic Conundrums" sessions, participants voted on cases, providing a diagnosis and answers to complex questions through an Audience Response System. The people who provided the most correct answers in the shortest amount of time were crowned the Canadian Echo Idol ®.

This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, approved by the University of Toronto (6.5 credits).
