Scleroderma Pulmonary Hypertension Quality Enhancement Research initiative (QuERI)

Study status: closed to patient enrollment

Not registered with clinicaltrials.gov (sponsor's decision)

Brief description:
Scleroderma PH Quality Enhancement Research Initiative (Scleroderma PH QuERI) is a multi-center, observational study targeting patients with

confirmed diagnosis of Scleroderma who are at risk for developing pulmonary hypertension.   It represents an innovative integration of guidelines and clinical care delivery aimed to identify and implement evidence based practices in routine health care setting.

The purpose of this initiative is to provide physicians with structured guidelines to make their practice more effective. The electronic case report form, which physicians will be asked to complete, will provide a platform for diagnostic and therapeutic work up of patients with SSc and suspected PAH or PH. Integration of this approach into physician’s work environment will provide additional opportunities to reinforce the standard of care.
